Many experts agree that the Australian cricket team that toured England in 1948 was the greatest team of all time. Captained by Don Bradman, who was making his fourth and final tour of England, they would write their names into history becoming the only team to complete an entire tour without losing a match. This feat earned them the nickname of ‘The Invincibles’.
Inclusive of all games, Australia won 25 and drew 9 including winning the Test series 4-0 with one match drawn.
This year marks the 60th Anniversary of historic and record breaking performance and as such we are proud to release the ‘Greats of 48’ as testimony to these greats of our game.
This is one of the finest pieces of memorabilia ever produced and to ensure its rarity it is strictly limited to just 60 units worldwide. The centerpiece is a mini bat, personally signed by 7 team members and completed with an individually signed tribute card by the master himself, Don Bradman.
